Climate change is a serious problem affecting all of us. Our current carbon dioxide emission levels are causing global warming and are unsustainable for the planet.

One effective way we can combat greenhouse gas emissions is to plant trees.

Trees absorb carbon dioxide while they grow and trap it for years to come. On average, over 70 years, six trees planted in Australia will absorb one tonne of CO2 with 80-90% of the absorption occurring within the first 30 years.

Trees also help to combat salinity, reduce soil erosion, clean underground water systems and provide habitat for wildlife.

Every time a new customer signs up for an account, we will plant a tree. Every year an account is kept, we will plant another tree. This will not make you a carbon-neutral citizen but it's a start.

We have selected Carbon Neutral as our partner in this scheme. Carbon Neutral is a non-for-profit Australian company, dedicated to helping the environment. Carbon Neutral was founded by Men of the Trees WA and is affiliated with Trees for Life SA. These volunteer based, non-for-profit community organisations have collectively planted over 30 million native trees in Australia during the past 27 years.

Carbon Neutral guarantees that:
- All trees planted for Carbon Neutral will be monitored.
- The trees are grown specifically for the local environment.
- There is follow up maintenance at all sites.
