What is ioMail?
ioMail is an email service that allows you to own a permanent email identity that is more you, whenever and wherever you are. It's you@yourplace.io.

Is ioMail free?
Because it is completely and permanently free of advertising there has to be something to pay the bills. In this case a modest little monthly fee.

But I can use other services for free.
That is not a question. Nevertheless, it is a good point. Yes, you can and they are all great services. The advantage of ioMail is that you get to own an email identity that is all about you for the cost of a couple of beers a month! You do not have to give up your old freebie if you subscribe to ioMail. They can be complementary.

How do I install ioMail?
You do not have to install anything. If you use the webmail interface it's completely web-based so all you need is a browser and an internet connection.

Can I use my email program to access my ioMail account?
Yes indeed. If you choose to use an email application you simply set up the account as you would any other. You can also access your account using webmail and email applications on hand-held devices. See the support section for more info.

I like the Gmail™ interface better... what can I do?
No problem. Gmail™ is a great webmail interface, and the best bit is that it supports external accounts. So you can set up your Gmail™ to 'POP' mail from your ioMail account. You can even set it up to send mail from your ioMail address by default. Good stuff! See Gmail™ help site. Other webmail interfaces may also support setting up additional accounts.

How big is an ioMail mailbox?
You can store up to 2GB of mail in your account. That's heaps!

Is ioMail available in my language?
Webmail is currently available in English, Spanish, French and German.

What percentage of my money goes to charity?
20% of the monthly fee, including GST. As the ioMail community grows this relatively small amount will become a significant contribution.

Who is behind ioMail?
Mesa Group Pty Ltd started ioMail for the more discriminating email user. The technical platform and webmail interface are provided by Webmail.us, a US-based provider of high quality email hosting solutions.

Can you look after email for my business?
Yes can we ever and would love to! Contact us for more info.

Do you offer a Service Level Guarantee?
Our platform is provisioned through Webmail.us and they have an SLA. Therefore, our SLA is pretty much the same as theirs. The good thing is that they have a very significant infrastructure behind their mail services and disruptions are very rare.

Absolutely. But you will need to talk to us first. So give us a call.
